K R BASEBALL ACADEMY
Winter Program 2013
January 6th - February 15th
This session meets once per week for one hour. Our Baseball Academy program covers all aspects of baseball including proper throwing, fielding, catching, base running and sliding techniques. Each week we concentrate on a specific aspect of the game. In addition, every weekly session includes hitting instruction and batting cage time with our instructors. Each class is limited to a certain number of players and a ratio of no more than six students per instructor is maintained. This program provides the opportunity for players to get involved in an "off season" program to improve and maintain their skills.

Our Hitter's Club meets twice per week for one hour. The program aims to provide a "spring training" experience that includes hitting instruction and batting cage time in an effort to prepare players for the season. Students are instructed on proper stance, grip and weight distribution as well as proper swing plane. Multiple hitting stations introduce students to different hitting drills designed to improve their hitting technique. In addition each student spends part of each class working one on one with our hitting instructor to ensure proper execution. We limit each class to a maximum of 10 students. This allows each student ample hitting time as well as maximum instruction.

The KR Baseball Academy is a baseball learning experience like no other. Ken Ryan, former major league pitcher with the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies, is the owner of the Academy as well as an instructor. The Academy was established with the goal of providing each athlete with a superior learning experience.
Our program combines an experienced staff with a structured teaching agenda that challenges students while encouraging them to have fun and ENJOY THE GAME OF BASEBALL.
Classes are held in our first class indoor teaching facility. Class sizes are maintained at a level to ensure a ratio of no more than eight (8) students per instructor.
Our ultimate goal is for each student to reach his or her full potential while learning in a fun, professional and structured environment. The result is an enjoyable and rewarding experience that will encourage our young players to achieve their ultimate goals. As we all know baseball is a very difficult sport. Success at batting, fielding and pitching takes practice.
At KR Baseball we believe in the principal of perfect practice. We encourage our students to work hard and practice correctly with the proper mechanics. No player is perfect but by practicing correctly every player will become more consistent. We hope you will try our programs and give us an opportunity to make you or child a better player.
